This yin and yang class combines an all level vinyasa flow along with a floor series of traditional yin postures. Enjoy the benefits of an energizing, strength building vinyasa (yang) flow while also allowing your body to melt into the more passive, longer held stretches of yin yoga.This hour-long practice will help develop a deeper awareness of the body while balancing the dynamics of building strength and cultivating mindful attention to breath.
Michaela and Dawn teach alternating weeks.
Michaela completed the 200HR Yoga Teacher Training at Thee House of Yoga. She has began practicing yoga in 2010, with experience in Ashtanga, Yin, Restorative, Power Flow, and Forrest Yoga styles. She has used the yoga philosophy to transform her body and mind, and hopes to share this knowledge with the community.
Dawn Gluskin is a 200 hour RYT and long-time practitioner who fell in love with her yoga practice because of its ability to help her create space in both her mind and body. She first came to yoga looking for “a little stretching” to counter her active physical schedule (as a marathon runner and triathlon athlete), but she found peace of mind and an expansion of heart, which has kept her coming back to her mat for more. She teaches vinyasa flow and yin yoga. You’ll leave her class feeling stronger, more balanced, and ready to take on your day with ease and grace.
