Join us in the heart of Cocoa Village for a literary celebration promoting local authors and their writing!
Special events include:
- Author Fest: Connect with 50+ authors in Cocoa Riverfront Park and Myrt Tharpe Square! Authors will be selling their books, signing copies, and sharing details about their stories and writing process. Each author will gift a limited- edition Book Fest tote to their first few customers!
- Author Spotlight in Local Businesses: Follow the map to participating local businesses and immerse yourself in book readings, secure signed copies of your favorite books, and engage in meaningful conversations with talented writers throughout the day.
- Story Walk: Embark on an enchanting journey with your family on the walk-and-read adventure of a children’s book. Explore the Village as pages of the book come to life at locations where guest authors reside. The path, marked by vibrant chalk art, leads you through a storytelling experience! Meet the Story Walk author at hello again books and get a copy of this special book to take home.

Author & Vendor Registration – Closed!
We have TWO opportunities for authors to participate in the 2026 Cocoa Village Book Fest, display their books, and connect with readers in Historic Cocoa Village:
Paid Opportunity: $45
- Set up your own 4ft table + chair in the central event locations at Cocoa Riverfront Park or Myrt Tharpe Square (location preferences given on a first-come, first-served basis)
- This opportunity offers the most exposure with an estimated 5,000 visitors throughout the day
- Includes limited-edition tote bags to gift to your first few customers
Free Opportunity: Now Closed
- Set up your own table in one of our Cocoa Village Businesses. In the weeks following registration, a store will be
assigned to each author as they are available. Authors are asked to work with their partner store to finalize details. - This is a limited, free opportunity that offers a more intimate setting to meet with readers but does not offer the same level of exposure authors receive in Riverfront Park.
- Includes limited-edition tote bags to gift to your first few customers
Non-Author Vendors: $65
Vendors who sell book-related products are invited to set up a 6ft table in Cocoa Riverfront Park. Examples of permitted products include: bookmarks, kindle charms, book totes, used books, mini libraries, and other reading-themed items.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please email EventCoordinator@VisitCocoaVillage.com with a few photos of the products you intend to sell. All vendors are subject to approval by HCVMS staff. Once approved, you’ll be sent a form and payment link to actually register.
